Berlin-based Glitterbox favourites Lovebirds return with their second original label outing ‘Shut The Lights Out’, featuring vocals from NILE and a remix from disco aficionado Birdee.

Lovebirds are regarded for their colourful 70s and 80s inspired productions, making the perfect addition to the jazz, funk, soul and disco of the Glitterbox record collection with previous outing ‘Burn It Down’. Now they unveil the powerful funk-and-groove-laden ‘Shut The Lights Out’, featuring London-based singer-songwriter NILE, an artist who has accompanied the likes of Jessie Ware, Kylie Minogue and Olly Alexander.

Together the artists create throwback magic, with an arrestingly funky beat bolstered by bold disco instrumentation, dreamlike synth work and NILE’s motivational spoken word. Birdee then takes the sparkling original and adds their signature disco touch, creating an upbeat and spacey remix for the floor.
