Cooper Smith “Where You Go”

Not many 19 year olds can say they’ve collaborated with Carl Cox & Eric Powell, performed at the Australian Open, Beyond The Valley, Revolver and Ability Fest, explored 39 countries, spoken at schools across the country, consult for the City Of Melbourne, and drop massive dance records.

Melbourne-based DJ and producer Cooper Smith is not like many 19 years olds.

Cooper’s early start and dedication have propelled him into the spotlight, making significant strides in the Australian electronic music scene and serving as an inspiration to many.

Beginning his journey into music at the age of five, experimenting with his father’s vinyl collection, his passion for DJing intensified during the COVID-19 lockdowns, where he honed his skills using an iPad and hasn’t looked back. He has rapidly emerged as a dynamic force in Australia’s electronic music scene, blending talent, resilience, and advocacy to inspire audiences nationwide.

Cooper Smith‘s journey exemplifies how passion and perseverance can transcend barriers, making him a trailblazer in both the music industry and the broader movement for inclusivity.

“Where You Go” featuring the soaring vocal talents of Sabath Siolo marks Cooper’s debut release on Resound Records and the start of something special.
