DFTD celebrates the 10-year anniversary of ‘Suddenly Funk’ by Brazilian techno producer Renato Cohen with a fresh remix from Andrea Oliva.

The original incorporates elements of techno, acid and, of course, funk to create an irresistible, squelching record full of character. Now, a fresh remix from the Ibiza knockout Oliva updates the classic for 2023 audiences; a rapid, persistent bass drills underneath the busy, acidic textures to create a club-ready cut bursting with energy.

Accompanying the release is a remix from one of Amsterdam’s finest techno producers; 2000 And One’s Lo-Motion Funk Mix evens out the tempo, allowing the funk elements to come to the fore.
