To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Defected Records presents a series of extra special collaborative releases Together, integrating talent from the label’s storied past and the stars of its future, as the powerhouse pairing of Low Steppa & Crusy return for ‘Bullerengue’.

The Simma Black label boss and chart-topping producer Low Steppa is a firm friend of Defected, headlining many of the label’s events globally including Dubai, Malta, Croatia and Manchester’s The Warehouse Project. His previous release with Spanish selector Crusy, ‘This Is The Sound’, made waves on DFTD in 2023, marking the start of a fruitful relationship between the two celebrated producers and DJs.

‘Bullerengue’ takes inspiration from the traditional sounds of Colombia and Panama, complete with native vocal samples over driving club-ready beats as this international collaboration fully represents the power of Defected’s Together series.
