Tommy Mc “Breaking Down (Hey Baby)”

With a combined 18 million streams across his catalogue, Tommy Mc has a breadth of wins under his belt across various chart success, International DJ Sets, a prime time weekly radio Show in the U.K and of barrage of releases on some of the worlds biggest and most influential record labels.

His debut on Central Station brings forth one of his finest moments to date, updating a house classic first made famous by U.K artist Silosonic, which even reached #36 on the Aussie pop single charts back in 2005.

Tommy teams up with the original vocalist and legendary vocal queen Beverly Skeete. For those playing at home, Beverley has had an amazing career, both for her own releases and lending her vocal talents to the likes of Tina Turner, Elton John, Chaka Khan and The Eurythmics. In 1995 Beverley also fronted the now defunct dance outfit Gat Décor, whose timeless classic ‘Pasion’ went on to hit Top 5 on the U.K singles chart and is still to this day, one of the all time great dance records.

Our first remix comes from the man about town Mind Electric, bringing a whole other level of energy to this with his to be expected production magic and his equally complimentary bassline and piano work that lifts this into a peak time weapon.

To round off the package is one of Sydney’s rising stars James Alexandr, who completely flips this one on its head and delivers a club ready dancefloor groover.
