Melvo Baptiste‘s new imprint The Remedy Project features Atlanta singer-songwriter Hadiya George‘s debut single ‘Hot Flavor’.

The follow-up release to her Radio 1 playlisted collaboration with Honey Dijon ‘Not About You’, and featuring on Horse Meat Disco‘s critically acclaimed LP ‘Love & Dancing’, ‘Hot Flavor’ showcases Hadiya’s own musical influences, which range from Anderson. Paak to Ravyn Lenae.

As well as the glossy, full-of-attitude original this release features two remixes, the first from godmode, the cult LA imprint who brought us Yaeji and Channel Tres, whose otherworldly, sultry groove give the cut a shimmering, dancefloor-ready feel. Up next, multi-instrumentalist, producer and brokenbeat pioneer Kaidi Tatham delivers his richly soulful, quietly hazy mix, as long expressive keys and swirling synths make for an irresistible re-work.
