Pnau “Stranger Love” Remixes

“A true PNAU happening – an interstellar banger to be enjoyed by the trippy dreamer in all of us.”

Acclaimed dance music trio PNAU now team up with Australian singer-songwriter prodigy Budjerah for their new single ‘Stranger Love’. A powerful and uplifting house track based on the French novella The Little Prince, ‘Stranger Love’ brings together Budjerah’s soulful voice with the dancefloor sensibilities that PNAU have become renowned for over their stellar career. Recorded in Byron Bay in early 2021, ‘Stranger Love’ magically marries the best of both artists into an interstellar banger.

‘Stranger Love’ receives a whole lot of love with some strong, powerhouse names within the Australian music scene on remix duties from the likes of Dave Winnel, Taka Perry, EDDIE & Stacie Fields, out via etcetc music from July 30th.

Sydney´s own Dave Winnel gives ‘Stranger Love’ a classic tech house feel with a hard hitting bassline.  He continues to prove himself to be one of the most prolific electronic producers exploding from Down Under.

Australian/Japanese producer Taka Perry mixes things up again with his version of ‘Stranger Love’ slowing it down and switching it up on a downtempo hip hop beat. Taka adds: “When I was asked to remix their latest single, naturally I jumped at the opportunity. When I had a chance to hear Budjerah’s solo vocal (who in my opinion has one of the most original and technically strong voices in the country), I could hear this almost hopeful melancholic element, so I wanted to haone in on that as much as possible. I just love it when remixes take a track and transport it to a completely different emotional world, hopefully I’ve achieved that with this one”.

With previous releases under deadmau5′ esteemed mau5trap label, Melbourne’s EDDIE adds a groovy, progressive house flip.

While Sydney native, Stacie Fields makes perfect blend of funky, classic and tech house combined with uplifting soulful Budjerah’s vocals.
