K London Posse feat Maydie Myles – I Believe (Marco Lys Remix) [4TTF]

4 To The Floor unveil a brand new remix package for K London Posse and Maydie Miles’ 1993 record ‘I Believe’, giving this 90’s underground track a contemporary spin and refresh for 2020 dancefloors. Italian production maestro Marco Lys puts his touch on the record, looping the vocal with tension-building drops, giving the track a more club-focused sound.

Fiorious – Follow Me [Glitterbox]

Following stellar singles ‘I’m Not Defeated’ and ‘Future Romance’, Bronx-born singer-songwriter Fiorious returns to Glitterbox with a stunning cover of Aly-Us’ ‘Follow Me’. House legend Roger Sanchez‘s remix opens the package, a fitting artist to take on the duty after remixing the 1992 original. Roger’s mix provides a clubbier feel, with jacking bass and powerful keys sure to captivate any dancefloor. Described by Mixmag as “a specialist in stirring emotions,” Fiorious’ earnest vocal combined with flawless production and Roger’s dynamite remix make ‘Follow Me’ another exciting glance into Fiorious’ creative mastery.

Dave & Sam – Facts [Classic]

After the release of their critically acclaimed debut album ‘No Shade’ earlier this year, Brooklyn’s Dave + Sam return to Classic Music Company to release ‘Facts’, one of the standout cuts from the LP. With their music forming a compelling, witty and often stark narrative of the 21st century experience, this release is an aptly timed ode bearing the scars of a community disillusioned by the powers that be. Told through the eyes of vocalist Dave Giles II and production maestro Sam O.B, the release of ‘Facts’ during the peak of the presidential race in the United States is no coincidence, offering a bleak portrait of Trump’s America, “coal, conglomerates, golf trips expensed on your tax dollars with brown ass water, paedophiles in public offices, privatisation of public places and pay-per-play politics.” Polish duo Catz ‘n Dogz bringing their trademark big basslines and raw, industrial feel to ‘Facts’.

Nice7 – Turn Off The Lights [DFTD]

Italian tech house stalwarts NiCe7 make their long-awaited return to DFTD with ‘Turn Off The Lights’. This is new single charged with an atmospheric build-up comprising of trippy synths and a hypnotic vocal loop, as full-throttle as expected from a pair expertly versed in creating club weapons.

Casbah 73 – Love Saves The Day [Glitterbox]

Casbah 73 makes his Glitterbox Recordings debut with an insatiably funky slice of disco soul ‘Love Saves The Day’. Driven by a soul-filled vocal hook from Angela Goode, this timeless jam’s authenticity lies in its rawness, sounding like it’s been ripped straight from a 1970s dancefloor while maintaining a freshness for today’s listeners.

Thernero – Look Ahead [Soulfuric Deep]

Stockholm DJ Thernero brings his distinctive dreamy sound to Soulfuric Deep with ‘Look Ahead’. This is a record that nods to the early 80s post-disco boogie sound of NYC, funk infused guitar riffs and a grooving baseline throughout give the track its sunset vibe.
